Hi, my name is Danielle, and I’m proud to be going into my third year as the Director of the Bandon Community Youth Center (BCYC). Working with kids has always been my passion, and every day I feel lucky to help create a safe, fun, and supportive space where young people can learn, grow, and just be themselves. BCYC has become a second home to me and my family, and I’m passionate about building programs and experiences that reflect the heart of Bandon—kindness, connection, and creativity.

Hi! My name is Wren Smith and this is my 2nd year at BCYC, I'll be starting kindergarten. I'm excited to start kindergarten next year but I'm really worried i'm going to lose my job. My mom has reassured me that won't happen though!!!

Hi, I'm Ciana Heys. I graduated from Bandon High School in 2022 and currently a student at George Fox University studying Psychology. This will be my third summer at the Bandon Community Youth Center! I am excited to see all the kids!

My Name is Violet and I'm a Teacher at A Child's Resort Preschool in Bandon. Working with children is my passion and I look forward to working with everyone at BCYC this summer.

Hi! My name is Maycee, I am 20 years old born and raised here in Bandon. I graduated Bandon high school in 2023 and from then on started working at the Bandon Community Youth Center in October of 2023. When I’m not working I enjoy traveling and being at the river with my family. Working at the youth center has taught me a lot lessons and values. Being able to be with all those kids is such a privilege. 

Hi I’m Brinkley Kirchgesler I am 15 years old and I am going to be a sophomore at Bandon high school and I am very exited to be with the kids this summer and this is my second year with them.

Hi! My name is Mariah and I am an upcoming Senior at Bandon High School. I play basketball and the trumpet in my school's Jazz Band and Concert Band. This is y first summer working at BCYC and I can't wait for what it will hold.

I’m Karina and I am excited to be working at the youth center! I’m 16 and going to be a junior at Coquille High School. This is my first year working here but I have had a lot of experiences with kids and can’t wait! 

My name is Tyler Eickhoff. I go to Bandon High School and am a part of its Speech Team which I love a lot. So I can give back for all the support Bandon gives, I have been in many productions/plays at the Sprague Theatre which I always enjoy doing. I am excited to be able to take care of the kids again this year for the BCYC!

Hello, I’m Rachel Eickhoff and I am a college student at Oregon State University. I am majoring in elementary education, minoring in German, and was Bandon’s 2023 Cranberry Queen. I worked at BCYC in 2023 where I found that working with kids is something I truly enjoy. I strive to inspire and make a difference in children’s lives. I have many hobbies including playing music, going dancing, reading, hiking/running, and taking care of my house plants. At my university, I play trombone in the marching band, go to social dances and take dance classes, I’m a member in a club for future teachers called KDP, and will be a mentor this coming year for first year students interested in teaching. I enjoyed working at BCYC in 2023 and can’t wait to work with kids again this summer!

Hello. My name is Lillian/lilly bowman and I’m happy to be working for Bandon community youth center this year. I’m 19 years old and have always had a passion for helping others and working with kids so I’m excited to be on the team. Outside of the youth program I am a freelance artist and seamstress and I enjoy sharing my hobbies and experiences with others. I hope to see you soon!

Hello, My name is Addi and I' going to be a freshman at Bandon High School. This is my first summer working at Bandon Community Youth Center and I'm looking forward to it. 

Hi! My name is Celia, I am married with 4 kids and I work at Ocean Crest Elementary during the school year. This summer, I’m excited to be part of the summer camp team! I love working with kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and positive environment. I’m patient, cheerful, and always ready to lend a hand.
